North Central
The North Central Regeneration Plan will take an overarching approach to regenerating the area, working closely with the community, so that all partners can sign up to an agreed strategy. This work is being led by Newcastle City Council. Work on the plan started in January 2007 and will be completed shortly. Further consultation will be held in summer 2008.

Newcastle Accreditation Scheme
The Newcastle Accreditation Scheme is a free and voluntary scheme which aims to improve
and promote the private and rented sector. In order for a private rented property to become
accredited or commended, a number of management and property standards must be met.
